We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support students' academic, social, and emotional development by collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators. You will assess students' needs, provide interventions, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges.
Evaluate students for learning disabilities, emotional difficulties, and behavioral concerns.
Analyze data to develop tailored recommendations for student support.
Intervention and Support
Provide individual and group counseling for students.
Develop and implement intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral issues.
Design programs to support students’ mental health and well-being.
Collaboration and Consultation
Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs.
Provide training and resources to staff on mental health and behavioral management strategies.
Advocate for students to ensure equitable access to educational opportunities.
Prevention and Program Development
Design and implement school-wide programs to promote mental health awareness.
Identify risk factors and create plans to prevent bullying, substance abuse, and other challenges.
Documentation and Compliance
Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments and interventions.
Ensure compliance with local and national guidelines for psychological practices in schools.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (as per local regulations).
Proven experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Work Environment:
School campus setting, including classrooms and counseling offices.
Interaction with students, educators, and parents regularly.
